CDA-Licensed Psychologist

Himangi Mamtani is a CDA-licensed psychologist and the Founder and Director of Practice at Mind Inside Psychological & Behavioral Therapy L.L.C. in Dubai, the psychological and behavioural therapy practice with which Halo Wellbeing collaborates.

With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, her professional background spans clinical psychology, trauma-informed care, cognitive skills training and psychological wellbeing. Alongside her clinical work, Himangi leads the development and day-to-day direction of Mind Inside, creating a multidisciplinary environment through which individuals and families can access psychological, behavioural and cognitive support.

Her experience across the UAE, UK and Singapore has also given her exposure to individuals from different cultural backgrounds and stages of life, contributing to a practice that is individualised and sensitive to the circumstances in which each person lives.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND

Her professional journey has included working with children in Singapore and supporting trauma clients in London through a person-centred therapeutic approach.

These experiences have contributed to an understanding of how culture, environment, relationships and individual circumstances can influence psychological wellbeing and the way people engage with therapeutic support.

THERAPEUTIC APPROACH

Himangi’s therapeutic approach is person-centred and individualised, drawing on evidence-based psychological principles, trauma-informed practice, cognitive development and practical therapeutic strategies.

Her work focuses on understanding the individual within the wider context of their experiences rather than approaching psychological difficulties in isolation. She considers the role that personal history, relationships, environment and culture can play in shaping emotional and psychological wellbeing.

Where appropriate, her work also incorporates principles of neuroplasticity and cognitive development, with an emphasis on helping individuals recognise patterns, develop useful strategies and strengthen their ability to respond to challenges in everyday life.

Her international professional experience has further shaped a culturally sensitive approach, particularly when working within Dubai’s diverse community.

COGNITIVE & WELLBEING WORK

Alongside her psychological work, Himangi has experience in cognitive skills training and broader wellbeing interventions.

This experience contributes to Mind Inside’s broader multidisciplinary model, where psychological, behavioural and cognitive needs can be considered within the same professional environment.

FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF MIND INSIDE

As the Founder and Director of Practice at Mind Inside, Himangi is responsible for the development and direction of the practice and its multidisciplinary approach to psychological and behavioural support.

Her vision for Mind Inside is to provide an accessible space where individuals of different ages can receive support tailored to their needs, while recognising that psychological wellbeing may involve more than one area of intervention.

Mind Inside therefore brings together psychological, behavioural and cognitive services, allowing individuals and families to access different forms of support within a coordinated professional setting.

BEYOND THE THERAPY ROOM

Himangi is also interested in making psychological knowledge useful outside traditional one-to-one therapy.

She works with schools, universities and corporate organisations, contributing to workshops and wellbeing initiatives covering areas such as mental health awareness, stress, resilience, cognitive performance, emotional wellbeing and personal development.

This allows psychological concepts and practical wellbeing strategies to reach individuals within educational, professional and community environments as well as within clinical practice.

COLLABORATION WITH HALO WELLBEING

Halo Wellbeing works in collaboration with Mind Inside Psychological & Behavioral Therapy L.L.C., creating an environment in which complementary areas of psychological, cognitive and wellbeing support can work alongside one another.

As Founder and Director of Mind Inside, Himangi supports this collaboration while continuing to lead Mind Inside as its own distinct psychological and behavioural therapy practice.
